10 Things to do this Summer


1) Enjoy a relaxing evening with popcorn (purchased from vendors), and a movie playing on a huge inflatable screen in the middle of the circle downtown Sebring.

What: Cinema on the Circle

Bring Your Own Chair and Blanket

Restrooms will be provided by the CRA Office.



2) Attend a benefit for Ridge Area Arc, a philanthropic women’s empowerment event, with dynamic local speakers, while supporting a great cause.

What: Heels That Heal 2020

When: July 17 @ 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Where: Island View Restaurant and Pub



3) Check out a beautifully colorful festival for a weekend.

What: 30th Annual Caladium Festival 2020

When: July 24 @ 9:00am - July 26 @ 3:00pm

Where: Devane Park, Lake Placid, FL



4) They're creepy and they're kooky, Mysterious and spooky, They're all together ooky, The Addams family (Snap, Snap)

Have a blast from the past with an onstage production of this American Classic. The Addams Family show hits the stage in this adaptation where an older Wednesday brings her new love, Lucas from Ohio, to meet the family.  Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Fester, Lurch and the whole family are eager to meet Lucas and you in this theatrical production.

What: The Addams Family; (On Stage)

When: August 21 thru September 6 @ 7:30pm (Sundays @2:30pm)

Where: Lakeside Playhouse

Tickets are $10 for Youth, and $20 for Adults

Adult themes and language. May not be appropriate for children under 13 years old.



5) Go to an outdoors concert!

What: Downtown Sounds

When: Every 3rd Friday enjoy music in the park. July 17 @ 6pm-9pm

7) The reel, the pole, the casting of your line, the peace and the excitement hooking that champion bass. You can attend a fishing tournament.

There are four fishing tournaments coming up and you could be in the reel action!
